After being cut from the Vikings following a tweet about lustful cock monsters, newly acquired Oakland Raiders’ Punter and outspoken LGBT dork Chris Kluwe has apparently recommitted himself to football — giving the politics a back seat for the sake of keeping his spot on the team.
Tweeting this written invite from the White House coupled with his sorry-no-can-do-RSVP, Kluwe shows his laissez-faire capitalist streak by snarkily commenting, “Lest anyone EVER question my commitment to a team that employs me, I present exhibit A.” Everybody’s got a price.
The event is an LGBT leaders conference held at Obama’s house for the last four years. Consisting of movers and shakers in the civil rights movement for marriage equality, it should be considered a real honor for Kluwe to be invited, given that his outspokenness is basically done from his phone or laptop. Which brings us to this: Chris Kluwe easily has the the record for most Apps on his Mac Dock of any professional athlete.
Excel? Powerpoint? Starcraft? Warcraft? Chess? I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy’s offseason training consisted of running from bullies and forcibly removing his Spiderman undies from his ass.
